Richard is passionate about developing environmentally and ecologically friendly mining, equipment and technology companies. Richard helped open some of the first AlphaGraphics in Canada and trained locations in Russia and the UK.  He grew a Canadian business consulting franchise to 96 offices in three years and expanded globally. He excels at implementing unique growth strategies, and successfully bringing new concepts to life in a multitude of industries. Richard has an ability to generate strong business plans with market opportunity in mind and builds expert teams to support his vision.

Robert is a proven business turnaround and change leader, with over 30 years’ experience in 11 countries. He has extensive commercial finance and M&A skills and has a passion for building new teams. He was Group  CFO  of  Noble  Group,  the  Asian  listed  trading  company  with  $90+  Billion  turnover, CFO  of  BHP  Billiton’s  Global  Aluminium  business and SVP Finance in Shell of Shell’s Gas  and  Power  Trading  business.  He also held a number of senior finance roles in Unilever. Robert  holds  a  first class  Chemistry  degree  from  Oxford  University.

Dave has a 24 year history of proactively leading project initiation, funding, and implementation across the mining and metal sectors. As a Chartered Accountant CPA/CA Ontario. He was part of the core Owners Team for the global award-winning Mozal Aluminium Smelter Project. Subsequent to his time at Billiton Projects, Dave joined the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) where he was instrumental in the origination, development, financing and implementation of numerous industrial projects. More recently, co-founded Destiny Copper, a technology-focused mining company unlocking value in niche, smaller but higher-grade, deposits requiring an alternate technology solution.

With a BSc Hons in Mining (Leeds University) and 44 years experience, Jim held senior management positions at AngloGold Ashanti, TWP Projects and STRACON SA in South America. In 2016 he started Jim Porter Mining Consulting International (JPMCI). He is a Visiting Adjunct Professor for the Centre of Mechanised Mining Systems, Wits University; Director of Sichoval Trading Pvt (a gold exploration and mining company in Zimbabwe). Currently Technical Director and Project Director for Northwest Metals Group, a subsidiary of GFG and a Past President of the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

A career spanning 40 years in the industry developing practices that make for world-class mining operations. Recognized in 2016 for the Outstanding Innovator Award, presented by the International Mining Technology Hall of Fame for his work with DPM at their Chelopech mine. He introduced an operational performance project called “Taking the Lid Off” that combined communication and location technologies, providing real-time production management and tracking to better monitor production and control. Rick’s visionary and practical implementation fundamentally changed the operation into a world class mine.

Ellie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in agricultural engineering, an MA in corporate sustainability and an MA in Applied Economics. 

Ellie most recently worked for CGB Enterprises, Inc, as the inaugural Director of Sustainability with the task of pursuing agricultural supply chain sustainability opportunities for downstream customers in the biofuels and packaged food industries. Prior to this, she worked at Marathon Petroleum Corporation where she participated in and led various sustainability efforts across the logistics and storage component.  

hank Amon – General Counsel

Carl “Hank” Amon was a long-time partner of White and Case LLP. His Specializations include bank and project finance, mergers and acquisitions.  Hank represented and advised governments on resource and infrastructure projects.

Research and Operations

Former BHP Billiton & Newmont Chief Chemist / Director of Laboratories. Experienced analytical chemist with expertise in laboratory management, research, laboratory design, personnel development and regulatory compliance. Known for developing unique test protocols related to precious metals and base metals, acquiring instrumentation and delivering on project goals using continuous process improvement.  Passionate about solving complex problems and meeting customer requirements in a safe, cost efficient and high quality manner.

Former Anglo-American metallurgist, extractive precious metals expert. Chemical engineer with 17 years of research and processing experience. Strong background in operations, project and laboratory management with Environmental, Health and Safety, and ISO experience. Well-developed interpersonal skills allow for the formation of productive relationships within the workplace. Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean processing.

Bruce has been an owner and partner of a large heavy highway and airport construction company with 50+ years experience in the aggregate and precious metals mining industry, asphalt paving, ready-mix concrete, and environmental and mining reclamation projects. Bruce develops and maintains long-term relationships based on mutual respect with private developers, federal and state governmental heads to permit and develop mining and construction sites. Bolinder Companies has been a major presence on the Rio Tinto/Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation mining site for over thirty-five years.

Successfully prospected, located, mapped and filed 194 new mining claims over the past 24 months using targeted research and new technology. With 25 years’ experience in precious metals prospecting, mining and recovery, Steve is familiar with the operation of placer and hard rock mining, ore processing and recovery equipment. Experienced in researching, locating and staking of new mining claims.

25+ Years experience in the mining and heavy underground civil engineering fields. Previously working with Barrick, Xstrata, Kamoto and Stillwater. Various expatriate roles in Indonesia, Australia, Saudi Arabia and Africa. Experience spans both underground and open pit mining in the following commodities; PGM’s, molybdenum, copper, gold, uranium, gypsum, phosphate and aggregates. Mine planning, operations management and project management. Steep narrow vein with backfill, block caving, longhole stoping with CRF, room-and-pillar. Managing geotechnical issues in steep walled pits. Drill-and-blast and mechanical excavation, raiseboring, mine dewatering, mine reclamation/closure.
